The Loft previously known as 'The Dead Fish Tower' has lost some of its quirkiness but gained in style. The food is very good with large servings.
We had Cambodian Beef Salad which consisted of very thinly sliced tartare beef , snake beans, cucumber, green papaya, basil, mint, tomato and chili in a beautiful fragrant dressing.
Spring Roll beautifully crisp skins with a moist vegetarian filling.
Hot Thai Basil Chicken cooked with galangal, garlic,chillies and other unknown ingredients with a hot spicy sauce.
Lemon Grass Chicken a delicious fragrant sauce with lemon grass, peanuts, capsicum and onion. We felt a little too much capsicum was used in this dish for our liking. Steamed rice was served with the chicken dishes.
DRINKS
The 'Margaritas' were very good but could have been more generous.
A very enjoyable meal at reasonable cost served by very attentive staff.
